SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER - CLINICAL OPERATIONS

Overview and Responsibilities Include:
• The Clinical Programs, Senior Program Manager is integral to the performance of CareMore’s clinical model and supports the clinical teams by:
- Facilitating continual assessment of program outcomes and statistics to identify improvement needs and non-productive work efforts
- Acting as a consultant and facilitator to the Clinician’s who oversee the programs.
- Work with teams to develop improvement plans and processes
- Managing clinical program development activities
- Designing and implementing audit and chart review processes
- Incorporating SNP requirements into clinical programs
- Pulling together and/or facilitating documentation and information needs
- Following through on deliverables
• The Senior Program Manager collaborates closely with the Medical Officers and Vice President of Clinical Operations, as well as the Clinical and Medical Directors to take the Clinical Programs to the next level of outcomes and quality.
- The Senior Program Manager works independently to manage work they are responsible for.
- The Senior Program Manager will work as part of the Clinical Operations Department which is responsible for:
+ Development and management of initiatives to improve/expand the clinical model, including new Clinical Programs and work processes
+ Improving operating infrastructure, clinical protocols and outcomes
+ Managing the roll out of market expansion activities in support of the clinical teams.
+ Management of CareMore Care Centers, and Medical Assistant staffing
• The Senior Program Manager will work with front line staff on a regular basis including:
- Case Managers
- Doctors
- Nurse Practitioners
- Utilization Managers
- Quality Managers
- Staff in non-clinical departments (e.g. Marketing, Provider Services)
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage clinical program activities as identified in “a” above
- Advise clinical leaders on recommended approaches
- In the future, other responsibilities may be included as the position evolves.
Education and Experience:
1. Education and/or Experience
a. Bachelors degree required
b. Masters degree and/or clinical credentials preferred
c. 5 – 7 years experience working with clinical programs and/or in a quality assurance role with significant scope.
2. Certificates
a. Six sigma certification a plus.
3. Other qualifications:
a. Significant analytical aptitude and capability
b. 3+ years developing new programs (preferably in a clinical setting)
c. Worked on large scale change efforts.
d. Developed operational processes to support clinical programs
e. Worked independently and in a lead role.
f. Collaborated with upper Management and Cross Functional Department Heads in previous roles.
