Job Description:

The employee(s) in this position provide clerical office support to employees of the Membership and Eligibility Departments including, but not limited to, filing, assures the mailing of required correspondence, data entry, maintenance of storage documents, and attestation of enrollment qualification.

 

Responsibilities Include:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintains the filing system for CareMore Health Plan enrollment applications.

• Files:

    • Purge

    • Prepares records for storage

• Addresses envelopes or packages.

• Prepares for postal delivery the correspondence generated related to enrollment transactions.

• Stamps, sorts, and distributes mail.

• Address correction in systems on returned mail.

• Photocopies documents.

• Maintenance of Attestation Process (Reliance)

• Prepare, obtain and maintain correctly completed and signed Disclosure of Health Information Form when applicable.

• Prepare, obtain, maintain attestation of disease state by member

• Prepare, obtain, maintain attestation of disease state by provider

• Maintain receipt of required attestations in Member Services System (MMS)

• Routinely run reports that identify those members with attestation pending.

 

Qualifications:

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None required.

• Other Qualifications: One year previous high volume data entry experience in Health Care Industry REQUIRED.
