Job Description:
Are you looking to work for a growing, caring organization? Look no further! CareMore is hiring a Front & Back Office Medical Assistant to join our team. The qualified candidate will assist in the examinations and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician or Allied Health Professional. The MA functions within the scope of his/her education and training. The MA is also responsible for greeting all patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner, checking patients in for their doctor’s visit, verifying patients’ eligibility with their insurance companies, checking patients out after their doctor’s visit, ensuring that patients’ paperwork is completed, collecting the appropriate co-payment, scheduling patients’ appointments, and posting the day’s payments at the end of the day. Qualified candidates will possess a high level of customer service, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have Medical Assistant certification
• At least 5 years experience as a Medical Assistant
• Strong computer skills a must
• Ability to take on supervisory responsibilities
• High level of customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Polished, professional and focused
