ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST

Job Description:
The main objective of this department, and its respective associates, is to acquire sales for CareMore Touch. Enrollment Specialists will be responsible for enrolling long-term care nursing home and Assisted Living facility residents into the Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan, CareMore Touch. Enrollment Specialists will assist field managers with establishing and maintaining relationships with facility staff, physicians and key influencers in the long-term care community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Achieve or exceed pre-determined monthly sales goals by enrolling leads generated by field managers and self-generating leads
• Conducts group and/or individual sales presentations, closes eligible members on site
• Ensures all sales calls/leads are documented as instructed
• Represents company at community/employer/company sponsored events to generate leads and promote company product/service
• Schedule appointments via outbound/inbound calls to eligible Medicare recipients
• Develops and maintains leads, solicits referrals from established business
• Maintain extensive provider knowledge in assigned territory - develop relationships with key providers that meet strategic objectives, while creating sales opportunities
• Assist with provider activities, pursuant to guidelines
• Maintain extensive competitive product knowledge
• Establish consistent schedule for facility visits to secure enrollments and promote referral, as assigned
• Build long-term relationships with facility staff and physicians
• Know the facility staff and decision makers on a first name basis
• Earn the right to, and ask for referrals on every visit
• Conduct sales presentations at in-homes, group sales meetings and special events, to sell the CareMore Touch Special Needs Plan
• Effectively present the CareMore Touch Special Needs Plan in a group or individual setting, with professionalism and confidence
• Attend appropriate staff meetings
• Maintain and uphold CareMore Health Plan conducts of business
• Utilize determined methods of lead management appropriately
• Responsible for daily report to the field manager, administrative assistant or director to review days activities
Qualifications:
1. Education and/or Experience:
a. Minimum high school diploma
b. 2- 4 years Medicare sales experience
c. Proficiency in telemarketing to self-generate leads & sales
d. Public speaking, presentation experience
2. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must have and maintain, in good-standing, California State Department of Insurance, Life Agent licensure and a California State Driver’s license
3. Other Qualifications: Additional languages preferred, but not required.
