I'm a native Memphian and spent the first 17 years of my career as a hospitalist at Methodist University Hospital training internal medicine residents from the University of Tennessee. I held multiple leadership positions during this time, including chief of staff. My passion was improving the patient experience, and I led efforts to bring therapy animals and live music to our hospital. I came to Carelon Health in 2020 because I wanted to focus on keeping people well and out of the hospital. Away from work, I love to play the piano and spend time with my six rescue dogs. Also, I will never turn down an opportunity to karaoke.
